Why Roadrunner Webmail Is Not Working With Thunderbird?

The problem with Road Runner web mail is that, it is not working on Thunderbird mail anymore. People don’t know why this is happening, but it is becoming very frustrating for them because they want to use the mail, but they just can’t do it. In this blog post, we will try to find a solution to this problem through our information and experience.
Thunderbird email is very popular in all parts of the world. It is extremely easy to configure this email service with other popular email services, but things aren’t getting falling into place when people are trying to configure Thunderbird with RR com email login account. They saw a message on their screen from Thunderbird that ‘it won’t be possible to send password’. They didn’t know what that meant, but it surely indicated that there is something wrong with the process. The email server corresponding to the mail also sent a message displaying ‘please send PASS command’. So, people tried entering the passwords, but they received the same message.
A weird thing about all this is that people aren’t trying to sync Thunderbird with RR mail for the first time, but they are using both the platforms together for a long time. There were no issue in the configuration process early on, but the problem has now surfaced out of the blue. RR mail login is opening smoothly in the Internet Explorer, but if people try to open it through Thunderbird, then they are getting those messages.
When people tried contacting TWC account support regarding this issue, then they got the response that, ‘we are no longer supporting email clients’, so it would be better to take help from Mozilla’. People are hopping from one company to another in wake of the right support. RoadRunner webmail works on different servers than the ones used by Thunderbird. So, people who are able to operate RoadRunner email on IE should not get that excited. There are a few questions, which need to be answered, as these can help resolve the issue.
1.    Thunderbird version you are currently using. If you don’t know the version, then click on ‘help’ and then, ‘about version’.
2.      Check all the server settings whether these are correct or not. There are a few things that you need to check, these are; name of the server, authentication method, port number and ‘connection security. If you don’t know where to check these settings, then go to ‘tools’ followed by ‘account settings’ and then, ‘server settings’.
It is extremely important for people to determine the root cause of the issue because only then, they will be able to fix it. TWC has also been selling domain and server migrations to the people, so people can opt for this in order to avoid getting into the troubleshooting process. But, people need to make sure that the server settings used by them are correct.

The issue is going to be resolved, but if it doesn’t, then there is no need to worry, as there are many email experts available on the market, which can fix the problem in the most appropriate manner.
