How to simple steps access and mange your charter email account on desktop?

Accessing the mail
  1. Go to login page from the browser.

  3. Now, an envelope icon will appear on the screen. You need to click on it.
Signing out of the email
  1. To sign-out of the account, you need to click on the gear icon given on the top right of the screen.
  2. Select the logo from the options and tap on ‘Sign-out’. You will now get logged out of the page.
Note: If you don’t close the main window on your computer, then the Charter email will automatically log out after some time due to security measure. After this, you need to enter the login credentials again to continue browsing the inbox.

Managing Username and address

At any time, you can delete, manage or create an email account according to your preference. You will get special permission for changing and editing the account once you signed in to it.
Adding a new mail address to the existing mail account
  • Sign in to the mail with the username and password.
  • Now, go to ‘My account’ option and click to add a new user.
  • Enter the information as per asked from you.
Deleting the account
  • To delete the account, go to settings of your account and search for ‘Delete’ option. Click on it to delete the account.
  • You may be prompted for this action but click to confirm.
Email controls
With this function, you can control or block any sender from receiving the messages from him. If you want to forward the mail to HOH, then it is possible in charter email.
The steps to open the email controls are:
  1. Log in to the email account with the email address and password. Go to ‘admin’ permissions.
  2. Open ‘My account’ page and go to settings. Click on the username you want to control.
  3. If you want to go through further options, then click on ‘+’ button. Change the options and save for future.
