How To Resolve Email Forwarding Issues In RR Email That Is Linked With MS Outlook?

Many people switch from one emails service to another in the hope that they would get better features and user-experience. Well, there is no harm in switching email services until you are getting desirable results. Many people switch from RR email to other platforms, but in the recent times, people who have tried switching from RR email have not been able to forward all their emails to the new email service provider. The problem is rather more common in those RR accounts that are lined with MS Outlook Express. To know more about the issue, kindly read the blog post.

RoadRunner is among the popular email service providers, which has a huge customer base, yet people choose to opt out of this service for some other. Well, it is pretty common to move from one platform to another, and Road Runner Web Mail is no different. Moreover, companies have allowed people to easily forward their emails and other important things to the new platform as well. One can easily setup email forwarding by taking the help of the host’s email.

If you are moving out of RR mail and want to setup email forwarding, then you will have to visit the official site of the company, i.e., www RR com and do certain steps in order to setup email forwarding on the new platform, which could be Gmail, Yahoo or any other email service. But, the problem with email forwarding from RR mail is that only 3/4 of the total emails are getting forwarded and not all the mails. This is making people manually move their emails from their older service to the new one, which is costing them their precious time.

A number of people who had done this in the past held MS Outlook Express responsible for this problem. When Outlook Express receives an email, it gets total control over that email. So, if you open your MS Outlook Express account and download mails, then those mails are not going to reach www RR com login platform. This also means that those emails will never be forwarded to Gmail. This is one assumption, but there is one more, which we will be discussing here below.

It is a well-known fact that TimeWarner Cable offers 100 MB of email space, but many people have thousands of emails stored in their respective inboxes, but this is only found when seen from MS Outlook perspective, but when they check from webmail.chicago.rr.com, there is no email. This is what creating the issue, and people are in a hurry to get onto the right solution because their time has been wasted due to this.

Solution 1 - First thing to do is check whether Outlook is configured to use POP3 or IMAP. If you see IMAP, then switch it to POP3, as then, it can easily download emails and delete them from server as well.

Solution 2 - Check if RR com mails are present on the new platform or not. If you don’t see any email, then the problem lies in your RR account.

Solution 3 - Don’t check emails with Outlook Express. It is better to configure Gmail account with POP service to check emails and also pull those RR com login emails straight into the Gmail account. No configuration is required for this. You will have to setup MS Outlook Express to use new email platform using IMAP. You can easily move mails from the inbox of Outlook Express to Gmail and then, you can stop using Outlook Express permanently.

These three solutions are good enough to make things work for you, so try these out.
